If selected, you proceed to the consultation, which can be in the form of a phone call, survey, or a more extended engagement. Your insights directly help clients make critical business decisions, ranging from market trends to strategic planning.

Once the interaction is completed, you’ll receive prompt payment for your time and expertise. Our compensation rates are competitive, ensuring that your contributions are rewarded fairly. We also then get in touch with future project opportunities in due course.

How can I become a member of the Dialectica Expert Network?
Joining our network is free and easy. All you have to do is fill out our form. You will automatically become a member of our network and will be contacted by a member of our team once a relevant project presents itself.
Can you explain the consultation process?
When we identify a relevant project, an associate will reach out to you, via phone or email, to go through certain screening questions. Once we confirm that a project is a fit, you will be sent our Terms of Engagement, which detail the terms and conditions that govern your relationship with Dialectica and your interaction with our clients. You also will be asked for your availability and sent a calendar invite for the interaction.
What is a screening call?
Screening calls are short calls for our team to get to know you better. They are designed to determine whether your specific expertise is a strong match with our client’s needs for a particular project. We understand that our experts are busy professionals, so we want to make sure each consultation is worth your time as well.
How often can I expect to be contacted about relevant projects?
Requests for interactions can vary greatly, depending on the ever-changing needs of our clients. Emerging trends, market dynamics, and hot topics are constantly in flux. As such, you may receive multiple requests in a short window of time, or experience longer periods of inactivity. Whenever we identify a project that fits your needs and expertise, we will reach out by phone, email or LinkedIn.
Do calls ever get rescheduled or canceled?
This is a rare occurrence, but sometimes calendar conflicts or shifts in a client's priorities could interfere with a scheduled call. We do our best to ensure that every booked consultation is completed smoothly and successfully.
How does remuneration work and when can I expect payment?
Once your interaction is complete, you will receive a payment remittance form to complete your payment. Payment can be delivered via Direct Bank Transfer. Our standard terms of payment are 10 days (this depends on your bank).
Can I decline to take part at any time?
Whether you accept or decline a project request is completely up to you. Rejecting a project request will not impact your ability to participate in future projects. It is our goal to ensure all parties are comfortable with the consultation, so we strive to operate with the utmost professionalism and courtesy. Last-minute cancellations, however, negatively affect project timelines and can affect your credibility as a candidate. If you must cancel a booked project, please inform your Dialectica point of contact as soon as possible.
Will I receive a tax form at the end of the year?
We are a UK entity and therefore we do not issue tax forms for other countries. We can provide our self-billing invoices if needed.
