This statement is issued by Dialectica Limited (“Dialectica”), a company incorporated under the laws of England and Wales, on behalf of itself and its group companies, pursuant to section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and ensuring that our staff and any workers we supply are not subject to threats that may amount to modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, and similar human rights abuses.
Dialectica has a zero-tolerance approach to any form of modern slavery, forced labour or human trafficking in any part of our business or supply chain. We are devoted to acting with quality and transparency in all our business dealings.
Dialectica is committed to maintaining high ethical standards, protecting human rights and acting with honesty and integrity in everything we do.
This statement is published in accordance with section 54 of the Act, and relates to the financial year January 2021 to December 2021. It was approved by the board of directors on October 6th, 2022.

Our Policies
Code of Conduct
For Dialectica, it is of utmost importance to ensure that the people who support our business are treated with fundamental dignity and respect. Our Code of Conduct should be followed by every Dialectica employee, in the attempt to ensure a safe, fair, and inclusive environment for all. Disciplinary action might also be taken, when appropriate.
The basic principles that are safeguarded in Dialectica’s Code of Conduct are:
- Equal opportunity to attain and maintain all aspects of employment that are not susceptible to any forms of discrimination.
- Respect in the workplace with zero tolerance to any threats of violence, insubordination, discriminatory jokes and language, personal insults -especially those using racist or sexist terms- unwelcome attention, harassment, advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behavior.
- Professionalism and integrity through respecting all stakeholders and abstaining from any abuse of authority.
Culture Code
At Dialectica, we believe that our culture is what sets us apart as a company and as an employer. Our values mentioned in the preamble are at the heart of our culture, and we use them as both a manifesto and compass. They were determined, created and refined with the contribution of all employees, regardless of their hierarchical level, during a culture workshop.
Discrimination and Harrasment
Dialectica has a zero tolerance policy when it comes to discrimination and harassment in the workplace and is committed to provide a work environment free from physical, sexual, or psychological harassment, discrimination and physical or verbal abuse. Dialectica’s employees must not be subject to discrimination based on, but not limited to, non-job-related characteristics such as: race, color, age, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, sex, religion, ancestry, citizenship, national origin, disability, medical condition, genetic characteristic or information, creed, marital status, family status, pregnancy, or other legally protected status.
All Dialectica employees are entitled to a workplace that respects their fundamental rights, such as inviolability of the person, respect for their name, reputation and privacy. That is why all employees must contribute to a harmonious work environment free of any form of incivility, violence, discrimination, or harassment; in particular by adopting behaviours that promote respect, cooperation, politeness, courtesy and good manners in their work relations.
Complaints Procedure
Dialectica aims to have and maintains the highest standards of communication, transparency and honesty with its employees and customers. That is why Dialectica encourages its employees to raise any problems, issues or concerns they might face.
Dialectica has a complaint handling procedure in place to support to employees who allege harassment or violence in the workplace, discrimination, inappropriate behaviour by a supervisor or co-worker, or other behaviours that are contrary to Dialectica’s values and commitment.
Any form of whistleblowing inside Dialectica is treated as confidential. Employees and members of management involved in this process are obliged to keep confidential the information obtained during the process. The reporting and investigating process is designed to ensure that every issue reported is treated fairly, promptly and thoroughly.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Principle
At Dialectica, we believe that we achieve our goals only if our employees come from diverse backgrounds and have different life experiences, as well as if we create an environment of inclusion, equity and belonging for them. In order to achieve this goal, we raise awareness, we ensure that all of our policies and benefits reflect our DE&I mission and we have also established a DE&I Steering Committee, which is actively engaged in all DE&I initiatives. The Committee holds a meeting monthly or ad hoc, if a DE&I urgent matter arises. Dialectica has also developed an Inclusive Language and Communication Guide.
Training
It is important to Dialectica that all its employees are aware of all the issues surrounding modern slavery, discrimination and harrasment. That is why Dialectica creates periodic company wide trainings on these issues and makes sure that all the employees are aware of the policies and procedures in place by sending periodic company wide reminders.
Suppliers Due Diligence
At Dialectica, we establish a relationship of trust and integrity with all our suppliers, which is built upon mutually beneficial factors. We firmly believe that the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chain is low, but we remain vigilant in respect of new and existing suppliers. We understand that our supply chain requires for focused efforts to assess and address modern slavery risk. We make little use of services demanding unskilled labour, and those services and products we do use are sourced from reputable suppliers. Our suppliers are for the most part limited to professional services, commercial real estate, staff benefits and healthcare, facility management, office equipment and computer hardware and software. Our zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking must be communicated to all suppliers, contractors and business partners at the outset of our business relationship with them and reinforced as appropriate thereafter. In case of a breach of this statement, Dialectica shall immediately terminate its relationship with suppliers and other individuals working on our behalf.
As part of our efforts in this area, we publish a modern slavery statement on an annual basis on our website.
