Recognizing this need, Dialectica launched its Entrepreneurs Leadership Coaching Program, a distinctive and award-winning initiative designed to empower leaders with the necessary self-awareness, skills, and tools to lead effectively, even in challenging situations (HR Awards, 2023).

The Vision: Empowering Leadership Excellence

Dialectica’s vision was clear from the outset: to create a leadership coaching program that would elevate leadership skills, enhance impact, and inspire teams. The aim was to equip leaders with the confidence, clarity, and self-awareness required to lead themselves and their teams effectively and navigate the challenges posed by the fast-paced and demanding environment of our industry.

This vision is closely linked to our strategic initiative of Talent & Culture: Attract, retain, and upskill the right talent and strengthen high-performance culture. By investing in leadership development, Dialectica is not just enhancing individual capabilities, but is also fostering a culture of excellence and growth. This initiative highlights our commitment to our people, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to thrive in their roles.

Program Design: Strategic and Personalized

1. Identifying Leadership Challenges and Objectives

The first step in designing the program was to identify the key leadership challenges faced by our leaders. This involved extensive consultations with senior leaders and employees to understand their needs and expectations. The primary focus areas included managing change, building resilience, empowering team members, resolving conflicts, and navigating tough discussions.

2. Comprehensive 360-Degree Feedback

Participants undergo a thorough 360-degree feedback evaluation. This comprehensive review helps in identifying individual strengths, areas for growth, and leadership blind spots. The feedback serves as the foundation for creating personalized coaching objectives that align with both personal and organizational goals.

3. Structured Coaching Process

The coaching program is meticulously structured yet adaptable to individual needs. It comprises one to one coaching sessions coupled with systematic monitoring of the coachees’ progress. This approach ensures that the individual coaching objectives set at the beginning of the journey are consistently met, addressing the unique needs of each participant. The coaching tools and methods we used encompass a wide range of approaches, including Solution-Focused Coaching, Self-Determination Theory, and Transformational Coaching. This diverse toolkit allows us to tailor our strategies to effectively support and guide each coachee, ensuring a comprehensive and impactful coaching experience.

4. Confidential and Supportive Environment

Confidentiality is a cornerstone of the program. All conversations between the coach and coachee are kept private, fostering a safe and supportive environment where participants can openly discuss their challenges, concerns, feelings and thoughts. The coaching relationship is founded on mutual trust and respect, adhering to the highest standards set by the global coaching accreditation bodies’ code of ethics.

The Impact

To-date more than 100 Dialectica leaders have participated in the program reporting significant improvements in their leadership capabilities, including better connection with team members, enhanced communication, and stronger relationships with team members and stakeholders.
